The Last Festivals of the Season

We’re nearing the end of season here in Naples which means the festival season is drawing to a close. If you haven’t made it to any this season, this weekend is your last chance! You have two great choices or, you can do both!

Marco Island Seafood & Music Festival

Food festivals are our favorites and this coming weekend is the Marco Island Seafood & Music Festival which means a weekend of fresh seafood and good music. The festival begins on Friday, March 22 at noon and goes until Sunday, March 24 at 5pm. There will be live music all three days and of course, all the delicious, fresh seafood you could ever want. The Grouper and Lobster Mac & Cheese are a must and the best part is that tickets are only $10 or $16 is you want to go multiple days!

For music, here are the headliners:

  • Friday, 6 – 9 pm. Disco Inferno

  • Saturday, 3-6 pm Ben Allen Band & from 7- 9pm The LandSharks

  • Sunday, 2:00-5:00pm One Night Rodeo

Downtown Naples Festival of the Arts

If you don't want to make the short drive to the island, the Downtown Naples Festival of the Arts is going on Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. You can peruse the nearly 250 vendors for a while and then grab a cocktail or two along Fifth Ave! Admission is free and while street parking is ample, we always suggest starting with the parking garages that flank either side of Fifth Ave.

P.S. If you’re looking for a happy hour downtown Naples, Bar Tulia, Trulucks, and The French all have great ones! If you want to hop over to Third Street, we suggest The Bevy, Continental, or Tommy Bahama!

Cheers!

Matt & Megan
