The Bevy: New Menu Review + Recommendations
I have to be honest, when other restaurants began opening post-COVID-19 and there were crickets from The Bevy, I was preparing myself to mourn the loss of our favorite happy hour and brunch spot. To my utter excitement, we finally heard from a staff member that The Bevy would reopen (insert crazy happy dance) though we needed to be patient as they came under new ownership during the shutdown and would be taking some time before the grand reveal. Though elated, my primary concerns were (1) that they would get rid of their AMAZING happy hour and (2) that they would alter the beautiful interior that was oh so photogenic. Thankfully, neither was the case! Not only did they maintain the interior (I mean, why fix it if it’s not broke!), they somehow made the already amazing happy hour EVEN MORE AMAZING! The Bevy kept the drink specials but added something crazy…THE ENTIRE FOOD MENU 50% OFF! I know, it’s amazing! But wait, there’s more (insert infomercial sound effects)! The Bevy is also offering a late night happy hour for those looking for the perfect night cap to an evening Downtown Naples or at the beach!

Now that we’ve visited a handful of times since The Bevy’s reopening, we’ve been able to try much of the menu and we’re passing our favorite dishes onto you! Our favorite visits have been with friends who are down with ordering and sharing an assortment of dishes. That means a little bit of everything for everyone!

From the appetizer category…
GRILLED OCTOPUS NDUJA
Don’t like octopus? Doesn’t matter. This octopus will rock your world because it is placed in the sous vide for 24 hours and it as tender as melted butter! Mixed with the fingerling potatoes and aiolo, it is a whole bite of heaven.
TUNA TARTARE
A fresh dish perfect for a hot summer day in Naples! This is a favorite of mine to order wherever we go and The Bevy’s did not disappoint!
From the salad category…
QUINOA
Not only is this one of the of the most beautiful salads I’ve ever seen, it is also perfectly delicious without any protein! I am not usually a huge salad fan but this one is a must to order every visit!
BURRATA ROMESCO
An obvious because, who doesn’t love fresh burrata cheese?
CEVICHE
Another must to order every visit because the ingredients are fresh and the flavors pair together for the most perfect bite! But be warned, this dish is SPICY!
From the entree category…
LOBSTER FRADIAVOLO
Fresh lobster + pasta is an obvious to try but the spicy pomodoro sauce gives this dish an extra edge.
MARINATED SKIRT STEAK
So tender and so flavorful! Also, when the menu is 50% off, ordering a steak is a must!
BUTCHER BURGER
I love a good burger and this one does not disappoint and don’t let the pickled jalapeno scare you! The pickling process takes out the dreaded spiciness and instead, adds a delicious garden flavor to the dish!
From the sides category…
Sides and appetizers are often my favorite sections to order from because I love having a couple bites of a lot of things!
LOBSTER MAC & CHEESE
I love mac & cheese and I love lobster. Also, I love the Lobster Mac & Cheese from The Bevy!
JALAPENO MASHED POTATOES
I love spice so these were an obvious must for me to try and they were DELICIOUS! Again, not too spicy but they are packed with flavor and give you a little comfort food feeling!
PARMESAN FRIES
Though I wish they were truffle, these fries are a good add on to share with the table!
Brunch at The Bevy…
This round up will come at a later time but in the meantime, I cannot recommend brunch at The Bevy enough because they serve up delicious dishes, $5 Bloody Marys & Mimosas, and a live DJ!
