The Best Beaches in Naples

Naples beaches have consistently been ranked in the top beaches in the United States year after year. With many great spots to choose from, let us break down for you the best beaches (and why), so you can best enjoy your time in paradise. Anyone can go to the beach, but we will show you how to enjoy it WITHOUT being hungry, bathroom-less, bored, and tracking sand back to your vehicle.

Lowdermilk Park

Lowdermilk Park is a favorite for families because of its full-service amenities. It hosts restrooms, outdoor showers to wash all the sand off, and a concession stand. There is a substantial size parking lot which is very helpful on weekends (but make no mistake, it will fill up). The “park” area is connected to the parking lot and has an area for picnics, two playgrounds for the little ones, volleyball courts, and gazebos that can be rented out. Please note- these things are not ON the beach. They are on the well-manicured park connected to the beach.

Insider’s Tip: Naples Kayak Company launches Paddleboards and Kayaks from this beach. There are NO reservations necessary at this launch point. However, if you would like to confirm availability, you can call (239) 213-3029 and please mention that you are with Naples Kayak Company. Click HERE to visit their website.

Seagate Beach (AKA- North Gulf Shore Beach)

This is a true insider’s beach (and our FAVORITE). Located near the Naples Grande Beach Resort, this is a much less crowded option, BUT you still have access to what the resort can offer with a short 10 minute walk North on the beach. At the resort-offered beach amenities, there are boat and cabana rentals, restrooms, showers, and a food concession. They even have Cornhole (Bags if you are from the Midwest) to play on the beach.

Insider’s Tip: People will tell you to go to Clam Pass… go to Seagate. Clam Pass is Naples Grand Resort’s Beach, and there are people EVERYWHERE. Go ¼ mile south and enjoy solitude.

Vanderbilt Beach

This is the FUN beach. Several resorts line this strip of powder sand with venues for food and drink. It does get a little crowded, BUT that can be part of the fun if you want to do more than listen to the waves. Across the road from the beach there is a convenience store, cafes, and alike. There are restrooms and showers near the parking. There is also a stand offering equipment rental, beach chairs, and cabanas nearby.

Insider’s Tip: The Naples Trolley Tour does make a stop here so if you do not want to find parking, this will save the hassle.

Address: The end of Vanderbilt Beach Rd.

Naples Beach and Pier

This is a great beach to visit as it is a must-see attraction.  Any picture you post to social media from this beach, everyone will know where you are!  Take a stroll down this beach in either direction, and you will be amazed at the massive homes along the beach.  The pier itself has restrooms, outdoor showers, and a concession stand.

Insider’s Tip: There is a big parking lot on 12th Street; however, there is street parking on the West side of streets North and South of the pier.  If you want a little space but still be near the pier, this is an idea to utilize.

Address: 25 12th Ave S, Naples, FL 34102

So grab your swimsuit and spend the day on one of the paradise beaches that Naples has to offer.

Cheers!
