Here on business? Here's how to enjoy it!

Being here on business does not need to be boring so if you’re ready to transition from the meeting room to the fun room, we have you covered!

When we use to travel quite a bit for business and speaking engagements, we always had a packed schedule. Our favorite trips were when someone in the area would take us around and show us a good time. While we would love to hang out with you, we can also provide some quick tips to enjoy your time in Naples.

Every restaurant Downtown and Mercato are fantastic. That is easy to figure out. We are going to show you the INSIDER places that do things with a twist.

Post-Meeting Drinks

The Bevy

Sip,socialize, and enjoy the Bevy’s fun atmosphere with a unique indoor/outdoor design with vertical gardens. Offering unique plates and cocktails, The Bevy is one of our favorite recommendations for grabbing drinks.

  • Daily drink and food specials from 3 PM TO 6 PM

  • Extended Happy Hour Drinks 3 PM TO CLOSE, Sunday – Wednesday

Burn

Discuss those action items from the meeting with a cigar and bourbon. This is not your old man’s cigar bar. While great for a guy’s night out, this is not a “boys only” club. Not only are Wednesdays “Ladies Night” offering $7 glasses of Veuve Clicquot but you’ll almost always see couples on a date as well as larger parties celebrating the end of the work week. BURN is frequented by locals (including us!) for a reason- the vibe is relaxed, the music is great, and the service is excellent so don’t be intimidated to ask for cigar recommendations and a drink to pair with it.

Happy Hour- Monday-Thursday 2-pm, Fridays & Saturdays 2-pm

  • 50% Off all beverages under $14

  • 25% Off beverages over $14

  • 20% Off all Rocky Patel cigars

Drinks with a Sunset

Naples Beach Resort

If you want a casual place to watch a sunset and take in the beauty of Naples beach, Sunset Beach Bar and Grill at the Naples Beach Resort is our FAVORITE way to do this. If you don't believe us, Travel Chanel ranked it the “Best Beachfront Bar in Naples.”

Insider’s Tip: Valet is COMPLIMENTARY when you are eating at the resort.

Late Night Fun

Cavo Lounge

What…. You think EVERYONE in Naples goes to bed at 8:00 pm after Jeopardy? Cavo Lounge is one of several clubs in Naples. Cavo is open until 2 AM EVERY NIGHT, so get ready to dance to some of the best DJ’s and to be a little tired for that flight back!

Food Truck HUB

Celebration Park

It is one thing to go to a bar, a festival, or a friend’s backyard hangout… but what if you could combine ALL 3 into 1 fun experience? THAT is what Celebration Park delivers.

There are 8 food trucks that offer incredible varieties of food. We were in the mood for some BBQ, and that brisket was SO good. If we wanted Indian, Pizza, Greek, burgers, seafood...we could have had that too. The open-air bar has plenty of covered patio seating along the water with live music. One fun surprise was the backyard games like Cornhole (Bags), Jenga, and Frisbee Disc Jam as well as board games (including ROCK 'EM SOCK 'EM ROBOTS). The games really brought the “neighborhood fun” aspect to it while having incredible food. With a pavilion bar overlooking the canal, this is Naples casual fun at its finest!

Can you sneak in some beach time?

Seagate Beach

4989 Gulf Shore Blvd N, Naples, FL 34103

Also known as the North Gulf Shore Beach, this is a true insider’s beach (and our FAVORITE). Located near the Naples Grande Beach Resort, this is a much less crowded option BUT you still have access to what the resort can offer with a short 10 minute walk North on the beach. At the resort-offered beach amenities, there are boat and cabana rentals, restrooms, showers, and a food concession. They even have Cornhole (Bags if you are from the Midwest) to play on the beach.

Insider’s Tip- People will tell you to go to Clam Pass… go to Seagate. Clam Pass is Naples Grand Resort’s Beach and there are people EVERYWHERE. Go ¼ mile south and enjoy solitude.

Want a Tour of Naples?

Naples Trolley Tour

The Naples Trolley Tour is the best way to see much of Naples without worrying about parking or being limited to just one area. In total, the tour is one hour and forty-five minutes, but we recommend the “hop on and off” method to make a full (FUN) day out of it. The stops include many of the most visited places in Naples including Tin City, Bayfront Inn, Mercato, LaPlaya Beach Resort, Vanderbilt Beach Resort, the Ritz- Carlton, Naples Grande Beach Resort, Village on Venetian Bay, Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club, 3rd Street South (Downtown), and 5th Ave South (Downtown).

Our favorite resort stops for drinks at their beachfront restaurants are the Ritz-Carlton (Gumbo Limbo) and Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club (Sunset Beach Bar and Grill).

5th Ave South and 3rd Street South are both must-visits if you want to shop, wine, and dine like a true local. For more good food and great happy hours, Mercato is also a must-visit

Price- Adult: $25, Children (5-13): $13, 4 and under: Free

Want to fish, paddle board, kayak, or rent a boat? Contact us and we will GLADLY recommend our favorites for those who like to be ACTIVE on their business trip!

Cheers!

Matt & Megan
